Satcop India Pvt. Ltd. is a Pune-based GPS and telematics company founded in 2009. It designs and manufactures tracking hardware in India and offers software for fleets, school buses (My School Ride / Smart Bus), waste collection, EV fleets, and personal vehicles.
My School Ride is Satcop’s school bus safety solution: 4G GPS live tracking, parent/driver/admin apps, RFID and UHF student attendance, and optional 4G cameras/dashcams for cabin and road monitoring.
Students carry RFID cards (often in ID cards) and tap a reader mounted on the bus handrail when boarding or alighting. Attendance is recorded in real time for the school and can show in the parent app; SMS/board alerts depend on the school package.
UHF readers at school gates or classrooms detect UHF tags automatically as students pass by — useful for campus presence without a manual roll call at the entrance.
Yes. Satcop’s AIS-140 device is designed to AIS 140 standards and supports multi-GNSS including GPS, GLONASS, and IRNSS (GAGAN), with an IP65 body and safety I/O options.
